It was something she couldn’t try to ignore, the fact that there was really something magical about the castle she was standing in. A royal ball was being held, the occasion was something she didn’t catch word of. Though upon making her first few steps the young nobody had to quickly duck away from the residents of this world, she noticed that she stood out to much to try to walk around freely. Locking herself away in a room the young woman looked around for something to wear, in hopes of blending in. There were no dresses in her size but she had an idea on what style to try and go for, her head sunk knowing she would have to use her energy to use the darkness to create a gown to help her blend in. With a snap of her fingers she closed her mis-colored eyes, the darkness slipped away from their loyal shadows to covers Alvita body. Once it slipped away and returned to their homes she opened her eyes and gazed down at herself, she was now wearing a pink dress with cute black heels.
With a jingle and knock at the door Alvita rushed over to open it, seeing a man looking at her strangely, ”Sorry I thought this room was the restroom, or at least one in here.” Opening the door and the man pointed off down the hall and told her where she could locate the room. She nodded her head and quickly headed down that direction, and turning down the first hall she saw. Sighing and looking back down the previous hallway, the man was gone, leaning against the wall she took a breath in to calm what nerves were shook. She must not of seemed to out of the ordinary of this world, but what was she to do now? Alvita looked down the hall and slowly made her way through it, looking at the elegant walls and could hear her heels echo as she walked across it’s flooring.[/blockquote]

Jerek slipped in and out of the crowd easily, though he wasn't really paying attention to the conversations swarming around his eardrums such as bees would to a hive. It was more of a subtle, for that was his other name, hint of curiousity mixed with the classic "make yourself look boring" act. His shoulders were slightly hunched, his eyes dull and seeming to be unenergized, and as somebody would approach him, he would give a small wave and the other would wander off, all ready bored with how he was acting. He didn't need the attention right now, but was actually looking for something of value. He wasn't going to rob the place, he'd long since grown out of those kinds of years, but he was curious about a few particular guests tonight. At the moment, Jerek didn't know that one of these guests would be Alvita. All he knew was that his simple black dress pants and shirt made him look like he belonged here though he acted more reclusive so that people wouldn't query about him being here. He wasn't worrying about this, though, as he slipped behind the juice counter and then through the hallway, looking around before disappearing as if through the shadows. However, it was just him walking, seeing as Jerek wasn't one to easily hide in the shadows as he once did. Sure, he was still good at it, but his old natural charm had drifted away. A lot about his past had changed him, but that wasn't what he was worrying about. What he was worrying about was that girl who appeared and then ducked down this very hall. She wasn't from here. Neither was he, but it still struck his curiousity. As he turned around one of the corners, he heard a faint voice of a man. ”Sorry I thought this room was the restroom, or at least one in here,” and shortly after approaching footsteps. He retreated slightly as he heard the girl, as he presumed the sound was the echoes of heels, to come around the corner. So as not to shock her too bad, he retreated a bit farther than neccesary and stepped out of the shadows as if he had turned down the hallway, glancing at the girl curiously. "Well, hello there," he said with what he hoped was a glimmer of interest. It had been years since emotions ruled him, but that didn't matter much to him. The girl probably couldn't tell the difference anyways...

Her eyes continued to trail across the walls that stood beside her, the style and colors were such a reminder as to a different world she was walking in. The deeper she walked down the hall the more her mind drifted away, remembering the empty dark castle she once had walked down- though a light smile parted her lips knowing there was no heartless trying to attack her this time. There was such a difference, this castle was built with care and dignity, the dark was built with stone and breaking rumble- though now there was a strange presence surrounding her. It felt to familiar, almost like a forgotten calling that continued to engulf her. Her pace slowed but she continued her walk. She was about to look back until she heard a males voice speak out to her, it caught her by complete surprise.
Alvita turned around quickly and saw the man that was following her, though just by first glance she could see behing the mask he was trying to present. His energy was to familiar and she was taken by surprise still, his energy reminded her of lost friends. Still throughout all of her experience she knew it was wise to not even trust her kind, ”What do you want, nobody?” Her expression was empty but her voice was filled with curiosity. She changed her stand to a more fighting stance, this was a creature she did not know and did not trust already. She knew how powerful they can be, so she hoped that maybe she would be able to defend herself if he chose to attack.[/blockquote]

Jerek gave a small chuckle as the girl whilred around, and he could tell that his appearance still spooked her a bit. He was glad to know that he hadn't lost his touch after all these years. Not like he still needed that touch, but at least he knew that he had it in the emergency case that he would have to use it later. It wasn't as if he wanted to spook the girl, hence why he had gotten furhter down the hall and appeared when she seemed distracted, so as not to freak her out too bad. He knew that he didn't emotionally scar the girl, however, seeing as she still whirled around to see who it was instead of fleeing down the hallway like so many people used to do. It was like a twisted horror movie when they ran away from innocence. ”What do you want, nobody?” he heard the girl speak, and he gave a smirk, shaking his head and picking at the cuff on his sleeve. He could tell the curiousity was probably just a cover so that she didn't sound bitter and sarcastic. Only now did he realize that the girl was also a nobody as she slipped into a stance that would be ready to fight. This made Jerek give off another chuckle, holding his hands up as if in a surrender. "Slow down, miss. If I was going to attack you, then you'd already have a bullet to your head," Jerek said calmly, but you could tell the hint of seriousness that was minumally veiled by this tone. "And besides, this would be the worst place for me to carry out a murder. Too many witnesses," His tone was joking as he said this, but you could tell that he spoke from experience.

She watched his smirks and heard his response to her stance, still didn’t impress her very much to try and stray from defending herself. ”You honestly think you would win against me, especially with one move? As for witnesses there won’t be a body left, trust me I’ve seen many of our kind fall and return to the darkness.” The idea of murder didn’t fit their kind, they would have to be fully alive to be murdered. Still her suspension just grew more to this being, she considered herself fit and ready to fight if she had to- but to make the first move was not something she was going to do. It would have been a shame to see the walls and carefully placed flooring covered in ice. Her expression remained blank but her voice was still in confusion, ”What is it that you want? I don’t have time to be standing here to play games!” She really didn’t have time to waste on a battle, she was deeply hoping that this creature had a reason for approaching her. It had been to long sense she met with another being like herself… her expression had finally changed to uncertainty. Her missed matched colored eyes carefully kept a watch on him, glued to him in case he would try and make a sudden move to attack her.[/blockquote]

Jerek saw that the girl wasn't the one to listen to what he had to say, as her position didn't alter at all as he spoke. "You honestly think you would win against me, especially with one move? As for the witnesses, there wouldn't be a body left, trust me, I've seen many of our kind fall and return to the darkness," which awarded the girl with a smirk. She did seem thorough in her explaination, but that still didn't impress him all that much. It had been a while since he had ran into somebody with this much spunk in her attitude. Obviously this girl wasn't believing him that he was here on terms of peace. Jay wasn't one to threaten others, and he was quick to deal with them if he was. She reminded him... Of a time from the past... Jerek holstered his gun, blowing sigh of regret between his lips as his traget struggled to her feet. "Give up, girl, you've long since lost," his spoke, his voice ice cold and sharp like a knife. He didn't move to pull a weapon though, seeing as the girl wouldn't be able to get anywhere near him. She was definately stubborn, seeing as she was trying stand despite the fact she was bleeding profusely from her head, shoulder, and leg. She was going to bleed to death, and Jerek knew that. She was a good fighter, which is why she wasn't already dead. Jay never missed a target that he shot at, he was confident in tha, yet the girl was still working hard to live. It was admirable. "Well, you doing to speak up, or am I going to have to finish you?"
"Good oppenents don't give up, Mage, you sh--" And Jerek pulled the trigger before she could finish. He wasn't one for talk. Jerek gave a small sound of amusement towards the girl and for his memory. "Of course, you're probably quite the fighter. It would be several moves, at least, and even then, I wouldn't know," Jay gave a small smile, shaking his head. "And the sound of a gunshot would definately bring some attention, wouldn't it?" he said calmly, closing his eyes and giving a beif yawn, stretching his arms above his head. When he opened his eyes, he could see the blank expression that Nobody's typically wore when they weren't trying to act human. Emotion seemed not to exsist for them, he knew this, but it was still odd to see a completely blank expression. Jerek knew that the blank look would also freeze enemies if it was a moment where you should be in pain. ”What is it that you want? I don’t have time to be standing here to play games!” The girl called at him, still sounding confused, and Jerek gave a smirk. "All I am guilty of wanting is to figure out why somebody as pretty as you, had to go and change clothes for the ball," he said calmly, his voice full of sincerity, as he saw that her eyes, each a different color, watching him. He was aware of the wary look, waiting for somebody to make a move. He was curious to why the girl had changed her clothes, she looked fine the way he spotted her before, and he could have spotted a few other girls in those kind of clothes. He put his fingers on his chin in a musing position, tilting his head to the side as he waited for the girl to respond.

His responses did remind her that even if they fought it would be hard to not draw attention, letting her know as well he had a weapon called a bullet and would make a large sound. Her knowledge of weaponry must seem very outdated to this other shell, she had no idea what a bullet was or what sound it would make- a ’gunshot‘. Though she kept her mouth shut and expression drawn, not wanting to sound foolish or make him believe he would have more of an upper hand if he decided to attack her. An yet he still would not, he seemed more interested in conversations, something she could not grasp a hold of just yet. It was when he spoke about what she was wearing earlier made the expression on her face show a mask of slight shock- had he been following her?
Her mind raced as to why or how long! She snapped her gaze away from him finally to shake those thoughts away, she did not want to waste her energy on trying to come up with an answer. They already had their differences and she did not have the slightest interest in learning about his- she had lost interest in her own kind long ago when friends betrayed and killed one another. An for what? Something she still thought as meaningless, that kingdom hearts… She found herself snuff rudely and wanted to feed him back a smart remark As if you really cared... , but Alvita did not think it would be best to push any limits this man had. So she made the decision to speak the truth, ”I wanted to blend in…” Her last outfit stood out to much- and blending in to each world was the best way to hide while she did her investigations. The girl softened her stance but the eyes stayed locked to make sure he would not attack her, so she took the chance to turn around- having her back face him. ”I’ll take your word sir, but if you cross it you will find yourself in a painful situation. I strongly hate liars…” she may not have a heart but she had the memory to hold a grudge, she continued to glance back to give herself a proper half curtsey before looking forward to continued her walk. ”Our word is all we have now… so believe mine and I’ll believe yours…” she spoke with a stern tone, wanting him to take her serious- she never made someone an enemy until they tried to make one out of her.[/blockquote]

Jerek saw a brief slip of what he recalled to be surprise and he had a feeling that she had tried to be unseen when she had gone off to change. Of course, he wasn't following her, but her strange behavior made him curious to as why she didn't seem to fit in this world. He had a feeling that she thought that he might be some kind of stalker. And he knew taht smetimes it would seem like that, since he was often driven by his curiousity before he was a Nobody. Come to think of it, it was that which made him like this in the first place. World wandering, friends gone or dead, and no place to really call home. The only thing that he could say that was keeping him from shooting himself with his own Light Spear was knowing it was the chicken's way out. Jerek gave a small laugh, shaking his head as she looked the other way. He wasn't expecting her to actually answer his question, it was a bit flirtatious he could say and typically girls didn't just give a straight answer. Then again, this girl wasn't a typical girl, and she probably had enough of guys and friends, and all that kind of crap. He knew that some Nobody's didn't worry about things like that. Somebody wasn't going to get hurt if he could stop it, but he knew that if that girl wanted to attack him, however, that he would defend without mercy. "You know, blending in here isn't really all that hard," he said briefly, looking at her outfit that she was now wearing. "The dress, however, still doesn't much fit in," he continued musingly. The girl's stance seemed to shift from murderous, but he could tell that she was still waiting for him to make a move of attack. "Everybody is wearing something a bit more formal and last century, but it's still a nice dress," he said conversationally as she turned away. As she spoke of how she dind't like liars and it was all Nobody's had was a word these days and all that kind of stuff. He simply nodded. He knew what she was trying to say, of course, but he still wasn't done talking. "Also, it's a date dance kind of thing. And it seems that you're alone," he said, his voice thoughtful. "Would you mind being my date, Miss...?" he trailed off as a suggestionable motion to allow him to know her name. He was always one for formalities.

The more the man spoke the more she felt like walking faster, yet what he had to say made her steps slower and smaller. Alvita glanced down once at her dress before debating to turn back and suggest something else. It was the best she could think of while looking at the gowns in the small room… then again everything in there seemed rather childish. When he had mentioned old century she finally stopped her pace and looked back to him, confused once again. What did he mean by old century? From what she could tell, looking away from him and back to the structure of the hall way they stood in, it seemed this world was slightly more advanced then her own. Making another idea of a dress come to mind, but it was something she only caught a glimpse of while her days of traveling… it was a dress she had imagined herself in… maybe now she could finally wear it.
When he had asked her to be a date she continued to look at him with a puzzled look, ”Alvita…” her expression had soften before she quickly looked down each hall way to make sure no one was around. It was a pet peeve for her to try and blend in, she knew her aura stood out quite enough but she didn’t want to draw more attention to herself because of her outfit. So she gave the man a small smirk before closing her eyes again to try and picture the dress, slowly the shadows had once again slipped away from their spots and engulfed her figure. The shadow had widen all the way around her before it slowly melted away from her as she stood in her new disguise. Her hair had changed as well as it was more pulled back with a diamond flower hair clip holding back her bangs while some still slipped free, once the shadow had finished they returned to their devoted spots. Looking down at her new dress she smiled once again, though it appeared more warmly. It was exactly as she remembered, the cream bronze champagne colors and flowers that decorated around the hems. It was puffed out and was very secure around her waist for a halter (the straps that hung off her shoulders seemed loose and had smaller versions of the flowers that were decorated on the front of the dress). This was a dress she was able to picture herself twirling around in a room as if she was a princess… a image she was very unsure to be a desire or a memory. Alvita looked back to the man and slowly gave the small curtsey once again, ”Is this more fitting? It was the best I could remember…” Still there was the question he had asked that still made her confused, to be this man‘s date. He seemed to of already been to where this ‘ball‘ was being held- and yet he decided to follow her around. ”I do not understand your question sir, we don‘t even know each other… so why are you asking me?” Although he had pointed out the obvious of her being alone, she did not believe that this man would honestly think she had come to this world to try and attend some dance- or maybe he did…[/blockquote]

Jerek smiled. Alvita... It was a pretty name, though a bit... Odd, he guessed. He silently wondered if it was her name forever, or if she had adopted it when she became a Nobody. There were some people who didn't remember their past, so she might have picked it up somewhere, but where would have been the place that she got such a name. Then again, Jerek wasn't that normal of a name either, but he'd heard it around in several cases. He was definately curious to where this Nobody had come, but he wouldn't let that get in his way. If there was one Nobody here, there was bound to be more. Was this a Heartless hotspot, or did this Alvita just happen to stumble into this world as Jerek had on his recon missions? Questions, questions, questions... He watched as the shadows seemed to form around her, and when they faded away, she was wearing a ball gown. Jay gave a smile, living the eloquence that she made into the dress. Was that something she had in her world. He saw her smile at the dress, and assumed it was too her liking. He was definately curious about this girl. If she wasn't here because of recon or something, then what was she doing here, sightseeing? He nodded as she asked if it was more fitting and he nodded, still wondering about where she had gotten such an inquisit imagination, or at least where she was visiting to get such the lovely appearances and whatnot. It was definately curious, and that was the only word to describe her. Curious... He smirked as she said that they didn't even know eachother, and he shrugged. "From a Nobody to a Nobody, do you really want to explain why you don't have a heatbeat to whoever other guy tries to spin you around the dance floor?" he asked curiously, arching his eye brows at her. He knew that he had made a good point, but with this girl, he couldn't quite tell if she just thought that he was trying to lure her so that he could murder her or something. He could've assured her those times were long over for him, but then he might've worried her about even being like that in any point of time. Not to mention he still had the gun under his shirt, and he was glad for the jacket that covered it. Less to explain.

Alvia sighed heavily as this other being kept trying to pursue on trying to be her escort, she really didn’t plan on attending the event… just wanted to try and explore the world to see if it held any answers. His reason didn’t seem to of brought up a good enough of a point to her, she wouldn’t be wasting her time dancing around with men who she held no interest of. Still there was another idea behind his words that came to her mind, it would just draw attention to herself trying to explore this castle on her own. Also if he was not interested in battling against her like she thought, he may be able to aid her in battle incase there was heartless inhibiting this world. She may have been able to almost defeat a heartless being… but now she felt herself grow weaker while using the shadows to help her blend into each new world. So the young woman looked down the hallway once more, still debating on what to do with this being. He seemed very keen on trying to follow her around… she wouldn’t blame him if he did- she followed the first other nobody she met.
I’m sure I could make this all in my favor… Alvita thought to herself before looking back over to the other nobody with a faint smirk on her face, ”Honestly I wouldn’t be wasting my time dancing with anybody… but if your so persistent then I shall…. on one condition.” she lifted up her right hand to show her index finger sticking up in the air, bolding her condition clearly. Her smirk grew more but her voice changed to more calmer and had a softer tone. ”You help me explore this world for a moment… if there is nothing of my use I shall dance with you…. is that alright?”. She lowered her hand and returned it to her side, watching this nobody very carefully. It would be harder for her to see any truth behind his words or actions, which would also still imply to herself… something that she would use much to her advantage with people she saw no use of. To make sure he was at all interested in her, she decided suddenly to put it to the test. She lowered her head before looking back down the hall way, ”If that is to much to ask for… then maybe it would be best to just forget about me.” Turning her body away from him she turned her head to glance back to him, ”A simple answer is needed… but keep in mind I don’t have much time to stand here waiting for it. Either a yes or no… that’s all that’s needed sir.” She turned her head away from him and slowly started to walk once again down the hall way. Even if he chose not to join her she still saw some confidence in herself to defend from any heartless attacks, or be able to ignore the people of the world.[/blockquote]

Jerek knew that he probably shouldn't have been pushing. His recon mission would be easier without trying to keep yet another Nobody around, but she needed the chance to associate with his own race. Not to mention, it would allow him to get into the depths of the crowd and find the main people of this place. He couldn't just walk around alone forever, because then he would have to dance with one of the natives, and that would just draw more attention to him. He hadn't been invited, and somebody would know that if they asked him who he was here to visit. That was the problem with the first visit, you didn't have enough information to completely blend in with the people around you. Not to mention even his outfit was a bit out of place... Jerek smirked as Alvita said that she would agree on one condition. He wasn't expecting anything less than that, as he knew Nobodies wanted something for their own benefit. As she said that she needed to explore, he nodded. "I've been doing recon around here anways, so accompaning you would make it less suspicious," he agreed. He wasn't in the mood to make a big statement on the suspect, but he knew his point would get across. He was, of course, a very subtle kind of person, and he wasn't one to stand out. Maybe that's why he's never been caught by the locals on his recons, unless the town was extremely vibrant and needed those outgoing characters. He typically left as soon as he got there. As Alvita continued, he shook his head. "Never too much, m'lady. And the dance was just so that others would think of us as a couple, so it wouldn't be suspected if we were found together in another part of the Castle," he said easily, as if she should have been able to connect these points by herself. He was always one to think ahead of the game, make himself invisible before the others seemed to catch him working. "So, the answer you would be looking for is a yes," he said noncholantly, putting his hands into his pockets, feeling the cool metal of his gun through the pant-leg, before continuing quickly past Alvita. "Where do you need to explore then?" he asked, turning around to face her with a curious look on his face. Jerek gave a charming smile.
