This thread is opened, no matter how far I go by myself anyone is more then welcomed to jump in and join me. This is how the plot will start.
What do these notes mean? Why would Master Yen Sid send me to a world that is already in ruins? Why won't he speak to me? Gosh... what does any of this mean?
The King stood quietly at a small chalk board in the middle of the small library, on the board was markings scribble and many dismissed ideas. On the table close to him laid the three pieces of parchment that obtained strange warnings, or clues, of some type of evil. His mind was racing with uncertain reasons as to why this was brought to his attention. Yen Sid had sent him off to try and solve the strange source of power his master felt.... but upon arriving the world was in complete ruins. Left abandoned and filled with death... a site that still haunts The Kings mind.
Shacking those thoughts away he continued to stare blankly at the chalk board. On it he had tried to come up with any possible resource to- whatever it was he was meant to figure out. The notes only gave him a small amount of information, but nothing truly solid to start from. Wrath's New Body, I wonder what that means. He turned back to the notes and picked up one sheet and slowly read them, trying to see if there was a hidden message or a code that he missed. Sadly they seemed to be just writings from a journal, but from who originally? Whatever this wrath was... it seemed that it has took over the control of the writer. The last of the notes hinted that very strongly. "What does it mean by their names are what our hearts truly desire?", Mickey spoke softly to himself, looking back up to his small board trying to figure out some type of clue. Evil that is Linked to the Hearts. / Wrath's New Body \ Linked to hearts true desire? Most of the other things were already whipped away, possibilities of who may be behind this strange operation.... how could he solve something like this on his own? I hope Sora or Riku got my letter... this might be to much for me to try and figure out on my own...[/blockquote]

Nothing really made any sense... what could a heart truly desire?
Love. Attention. Meaning. Hope? Well those were some of the things Mickey's heart craved, were they one of the evils that were mentioned of. Wrath... a hearts desire.... what a terrible thing for a heart to crave. Mickey's head hung low imagining the idea of losing oneself to such an emotion. "Emotion? Hmmm....", The King picked up a piece of chalk and wrote down another idea to the board. Wrath = Emotion \ ... "What did that first note say again...", Looking back over to the table, with his free hand he carefully picked up the parchment and read it over quietly to himself. "To whom ever finds this, My mind is at the brink of its end. I don't know how long... I have anymore... This emotion is over powering me. This emotion though- it's something... Sinister. It has granted me a false gift, and now it's taking over me. It's not alone, there are many others. Beware of this Sin. I fear this key is just the beginning of something uncontrollable. Something.... Uncivil.
- Wrath's New Body. What could this mean.... I feel like it's all right here and I can't even see it... gosh!" To him there was a clock ticking away in the back of his head. Then again there really was a clock mounted on the wall, ticking back and forth slowly- constantly reminding him as to how much time was wasted on this dilemma. Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock... it was it time was challenging Mickey on trying to figure out a solution to this problem before something terrible happened. The idea of one of the worlds he had visited falling under like- "I can't think like this- I need to stay positive. I need to stay focused. Lives are at risk..." I need to solve something, I can't let this evil harm any more people. Always trying to take on more then what he could handle... Mickey knew what it was like though- losing a friend or a loved one to the darkness. He dreaded the idea of anyone else having to go through such pain and misery. Yet that is what this evil seemed to crave- wait. Quickly he wrote down another idea with the chalk still in his hand. Feeds off the pain in one's heart = complete control over time "I think I'm getting somewhere now..." His spirit lighten looking over the small notes of possibilities.[/blockquote]

“Maybe... waiting isn't good enough.” A small sigh came from the mouth of Kairi a teen looking for her long lost friends. It had been a whole year since she had seen them, and she missed them more then anything. Her heart yearned for Sora and Riku to return, but knew that he would never return without Riku. The more she thought about him never returning the more her head started to hurt as her eye sight became blurry. Her body fell backwards, as she laid in the soft sand with her eyes closed not wanting to open. “Sora…” Her glossed pink lips said his name in a whisper tone as her memories went back to the beginning. “Wake up you lazy bum!” A small fourteen year old girl smiled at a spiky brown haired boy. His name was Sora. Her best friend, and someone that she wanted to stay with forever. He was always in her heart, and so was her other close friend Riku.
They were all together on a small world named Destiny Island. It was a quit place that was in fact three parts of one island. Many children came to play on the island other then Sora, Riku and Kairi. Their names were Selphie, Tidus and Wakka. Together the six of them spent time together on the island everyday. But the most curious of the islanders was Riku a boy with courage, and mostly the older brother figure of Sora and Kairi. He was the one that wanted to tell explore islands. It was a nice thought, and thanks to the raft the three of them were all building everyone would get to see new worlds. Kairi was excited and at the same she wanted to stay on the island with Sora.
The memories turn black as small creatures walk around Kairi their eyes yellow, and big waiting to get her. “This time I’ll protect you!” Her small body rushed to the singled out heartless, as her arms wrapped around it. A light shined as Kairi’s eyes opened quickly her body moved away from the shore. A portal opened as a man stepped through with red hair, out of it with a smirk. Kairi wasn’t afraid for she knew that this time she would find Sora, and rescue him from the darkness.“This time.. I’ll come back to you. I promise.” Those words went through her head as, a confident look was on Kairi's face. She ran through the portal knowing her journey was just now beginning.
Thoughs were the Kairi's last thoughts, as she looked around for a moment mouse shaped green bushes everywhere. "Where... mouse heads.. maybe I am. No.. It couldn't be." Kairi was shocked, as she saw a flight of stairs. Walking towards them her feet carried her up them as her blue eyes kept on looking around. The hall was silent except for the occasional walking brooms. "Huh.. I guess this is." Blinking at the magic she saw huge door down the hall. Curiosity... killed the cat... but maybe. Mmmm. Right!" Running down the hall she another door to her stopping. Walking towards it her hands touched the wooden door, as a surge of light filled her body. "I see... mmm no..." Shaking her head, she quietly went back down the halls towards the other door. Knocking on it with no force her delicate voice rang. "Hello. Anyone Home?" She was curious to know who lived in this huge kingdom, but had a feeling that it was an old friend of Sora and Riku's. Her heart felt a bit better, as she thought of the two.

Large eyes closed and his head hung down, raising a hand to his round chin and allowed his imagination to fly. He pictured himself back on the isolated world, trying to reanimate the rumbles and mark where he found the papers. Trying to carve a path from each points, maybe there was a key that he missed- thinking that maybe if he stayed just a little bit longer another clue would have been found. What if I did miss something? Gosh what a bummer that would be if I did, I searched every spot three times- turned over almost every rock. What could these notes mean? There was a clue in the notes, opening his eyes and looking back up on the chalkboard proved that. His little scribbles and small ideas, one major thing was that the heart was involved. Yet was it also a possible cause? What were these sins that the messenger was warning about, did he write this in hopes of someone else picking up from where he left off? Did he discover more and eventually lost himself entirely in the process? Was trying to find the answers worth losing himself to? So many more questions, and the notes hardly held any answers. ”If only Master Yen Sid would speak to me… oh what a mess this is turning out to be. What does any of it mean?!” His frustration was starting to grow, he was trying to solve this problem as quick as he could- and he knew that was a very unwise thing to do. He knew he needed time, and help- but his fear of others falling under from this power deeply troubled him. Knock knock. ”Hello. Anyone home?” He jumped lightly from the sound of the door, his ears perked up upon hearing the light voice. He could already tell it wasn’t his new assistant, if it was there wouldn’t of been knocking involved- instead the young man would of poke his head in and spoke out freely. If it was Minnie… no the voice was not as cheerful- and besides she would of already known who was home. There was only one true way to find out, placing the chalk down Mickey walked over to the door and opened it, peaking his head through while the door was opening. Quickly he recognized Kairi and a great smile grew on his face, it warmed his heart seeing the young girl. He was also reminded as how much time went past when seeing how much older she was from their last encounter. ”Golly you gave me quite a startle, I wasn’t expecting seeing you Kairi. What a pleasant surprise though, come right in- maybe you could help me with something.” He could remember as if it was yesterday, how Kairi had bravely stepped up and fought against Organization XIII- he was very proud on how she emotionally handled the fear of losing their friends to the darkness. If it wasn’t for her calmness on Destiny Island Mickey didn’t know how he was able to keep his nerves together. Of course after opening the door more for Kairi to enter, Mickey Mouse quickly walked to his desk and waved his hand over the papers that laid in a order he believed they were written. ”Now I’m not very sure if you had read the message I sent for Sora, but these have been troubling me for quite some time. Is Sora here with you? Or possibly Riku?” the idea of Kairi traveling off on her own didn’t cross his mind, he already assumed the trio traveled to his castle in hopes of being able to lend a hand with this dilemma. Sora was the only one who knew where to find his castle, not even Riku had stepped into the halls of his grand domain during this time together.[/blockquote]

"Sadly I haven't seen them... I am looking for them at the moment. Though I don't know how I got here.... I was looking at the island... then a portal opened, and I was here." Sighing, and looking a bit worried Kairi looked around. The kingdom was huge, and she had never seen one like it before. Al though a few memories slipped into her mind. "That place... I had been there before..." Shaking her head she went back to looking at the king and his library. Many books seemed to line its shelves, and cover its desk.
"The letters.. I haven't seen them...."
Kairi looked down at the ground for a second some worried look upon her face. Letters never really meant that good things were going to happen. It only meant that darkness was going to appear once more. Closing her eyes for a second her mind wandered off into memories. The time when she was much younger, and with her friends. Those were the happier days when they were... "together.. I miss them... but I'll find them.. I promise.." Smiling for a second she looked at King Mickey with happiness in her eyes.

Kairi's words made the smaller sized mouse sigh out in wonder. How could a portal just help Kairi get to his kingdom? He thought it was very brave of Kairi to been able to just run right through it, but also... "That was very brave of you Kairi, but also a little foolish. That portal could of lead you anywhere in the universe, but thankfully it led you here... I hope nothing else followed you here." With that idea flying in his mind the king hurried back towards the door to peek through it. Seeing that there was no one outside he closed the door and looked back to his friend. He had noticed the worried look on her face, and he felt it was time to let her know about the danger he caught word of.
"Kairi... those notes seem to be some type of warning, of some source that is able to corrupt a person by the use of emotion. I'm sure you can tell by my chalk board that I've been trying to link a possible enemy... but sadly... ..." His voice trailed off and his expression deepened with sadness, his ears even sulked. "The exact time when they were writing is very unclear, and I feel as if there was more notes- but I have no idea where they could be. They could have been destroyed on the world I found them on. There is a clue in these notes though… I just can’t figure out what.” The thought of Sora and Riku going missing made the king worry but he knew those boys would be able to defend for themselves. Right now his main concern was these notes.[/blockquote]

"I guess a bit of Sora, and Riku have rubbed off onto me after all, but I only did what I thought was right. Sora and Riku went through the darkness for me.... so I decided to go through it for them." A confident look was on her face, as she walked up to the chalkboard. Closing her eyes for a moment her heart ached, as she opened her eyes. "Wrath which equals emotion should lead to a heart. Without that no one would be able to feel anything I know that for a fact. My heart misses Sora and Riku, and I know without this heart I wouldn't feel anything about them being missing." Kairi silently looked down, as she backed up from the board. Looking back up she turned around, and smiled at the King.
"I hope that helps.. I don't have much knowledge involving things like this, but I have a feeling this may lead me somewhere important..."
Letting the smile drop she looked around a bit more scanning the area for anything. Nothing seemed to caught her eye as an idea went off in her head. "Love... is an emotion, and something everyone feels. Its in everyone right, so maybe... Ohh I can't explain it!" Stomping her foot she sighed rubbing the back of her head still thinking. The process of trying to figure out something like this did take time, but what if thats now what they had. Time was something that went fast, and slow sometimes it went too quickly. Shaking her head she kept looking at the board trying to figure out something.

Kairi did have a point about taking the chance, he had been in the same position when it came to being on the other side of Kingdom Hearts with Riku. He nodded while listening to her words carefully, her views were what he had already suspected. Again his head lowered while trying to think of some type of clue, thinking back to the deserted world.
”Love…. is an emotion, and something everyone feels. Its in everyone right, so maybe... Ohh I can't explain it!"
”Maybe whatever it is… it is consuming what our hearts already bare. It was mentioned in the first letter-” The king looked back t his desk to pick up the first letter, well he believed it was one of the first that was written. Clearing his throat he read some of it out loud, hoping hearing him speak another idea would come to their minds. ”It started off corrupting the hearts of those who seek something sinister. Slowly consuming them and in the end controlling their every move.” He looked back up to Kairi and thought over the words, ”It is controlling them with their own emotions… …. over baring them with it. Love can have the power to make us choice over things that others may not agree upon… though that is not sinister- well to some at least… hmmm…” He looked back to the board still trying to think of a solution.[/blockquote]

"You make very good points, but for some reason I feel like it is more then that. More then we can even understand I think. Though I still wonder where Sora and Riku are..." Kairi's voice drifted off and she thought of the island. Those were the days of her in innocence. She was still having fun and living her life at the time. "Things have changed..." Nothing seemed like it was four years ago , and it was a bit nerve recking. Shaking her head she sighed. "What should I do now... I don't know where to look. But I guess giving up is something I cannot do! I promised to find Sora this time, and I will." A smile came across her face, as she listened for the King's words.

The king didn’t realize how long Sora and Riku had been missing until seeing Kairi’s reaction. He just stood there watching and listening to her speak, seeing her put a smile on her face made the King smile himself. ”Then maybe now it’s your turn to go out and find your friends, it may not be an easy journey but I know you can handle it.” the King didn’t want Kairi to feel as if time was slipping by, and flying around in a ship had always been to complicated for him to do- walking over to his desk he opened a drawer. He pulled out something small in his closed hand, while walking back over to Kairi he had a smile on his face. ”Here, I want you to use this- it will help you during your travels” With his free hand he took a hold of Kairi’s and drop a small bright yellow fragment in her open palm. ”That is a star piece, it will help you travel from one world to the next. The first go rounds are fierce to take, but all you have to do is trust in it’s power and over time you can get used to it. It was how I was able to quickly vanish without anyone being able to notice.” he smiled thinking back to the times he was able to make everyone wonder how he quickly vanished without a trace. ”Don’t over use it’s power, each time you go to a world it’ll need a great deal of time to regenerate it’s power so you can use it again.” He wished there was more he could do to help Kairi, but right now he needed to try and figure out the warnings the notes held. His smile had faded a bit while looking back over to the boards, ”When you find them please let them know to try and stop by…”[/blockquote]

Kairi took the item putting it inside of her pouch with a smile she nodded. Her own journey was just about to begin and she was ready for it."Well I better get going. Thanks again your majesty." showing true respect Kairi bowed, and turned around walking towards the door. Opening it she walked out and into the court yard smiling. Taking out the star item she held it up with great courage. "Take me to Hollow Bastion!" The star piece glowed as a bright light shot down on Kairi beaming her up. In a bright light she was gone.

The king turned his body to watch Kairi walk out, he even hurried after her to watch her fly off. It was a first to see someone other then himself use the star piece, and in a blink of an eye Kairi was off on her adventure- leaving the King walking to the court yard looking up at the sky trying to see her off. She was gone though, off to Hollow Bastion, Radiant Garden... ... The King lowered his head and looked across his empty green court yard. He had many things to do- and for once he was to stay in Disney Castle until he figured out another clue to the puzzle or had a sudden mission to run to. Mickey hurried back to the library and returned to the front of the chalk board, standing and trying to figure out it's hidden message of the three strange notes he had acquired. people are still welcomed in this thread =D
